why i cant bring myself to do it?.

When it comes to relationships I'm a really different guy. A long time ago my psychologist told me that it's not that I am antisocial, its just that I tend to socialize in very different ways and look for unsual ways to meet someone. Apparently my social skills improved over the last years, don't get me wrong, I have always made very good friends over the years, but sometimes I still think I need to find a best friend and make new ones.
So the thing is, when I am in a situation when I have to take initiative to meet new people, Why I can't bring myself to do it?.
